It was -4.6C on 6th December so not coldest of the winter.

Total cloud cover along with a moderate wind coming in from the North Sea meant that temperatures hovered around 8 C all through the night here at my coastal location.
  But at least it is staying nice and dry and winds are quite light, that is good enough for me.
