Got down to a foggy and frosty -1.9C here, making it my 7th coldest night this 'season'.

Pretty chilly in some spots  by the looks of it!

-5.5C at my mums in Perthshire this morning. Here my lowest was only -2.4C but that was the lowest since November. In fact my three lowest temps in the "Winter" season were all in November or March. Pretty unusual I would guess.

-4.6C here this morning, coldest air temp since November.

Coldest night of the winter? You must be joking. By the time the ever present wind had died down it had clouded over. Got down to an absolutely pathetic +0.8C when -2C was forecast No air frost since 4th March and only one night below -1C since 25th January. It's beyond ridiculous.

Least frosty March and Autumn/Winter/Spring I've ever known. I've never recorded a spring before that didn't get to -1C with -5C having been reached in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013. Given I'm in the outskirts of the city and supposedly more prone to getting frost it's quite possible that parts of the city will have had a frost free March

Current seasonal low of -2.5C is highest on record by a margin of over 1C and just 104 hours below freezing since November is disgraceful and far lower than my previous lowest total for winter alone. To go almost 4 months without even a cold snap just beggars belief and completely without precedent to have no lying snow in the first quarter of the year

I did have a colder night in January so not quite the coldest!

Just down to -1C here early on Monday morning; not as cold as expected. I needn't have bothered to lag the outside tap which didn't need lagging all winter!
