As mentioned by Gusty, indeed I did get to see a lovely orangy-red sunrise upon awakening at 6 am.

It is currently rather overcast but there is a slight twinge of brightness, there is also a small bit of spitty light rain blowing about in the brisk easterly breeze but not enough to even make it damp.  However, that very breeze is making the current temperature of 7.8 C and 75% humidity feel quite cold and fresh.

In other words, not a lot to get worked up about as I get on with life as usual.
