8.1 mm of rain has fallen last night - and is still raining - thus breaking the run of 16 rain-free days. But I think I may have to get myself a new weather station, at least my old (now deceased) WS2300 was more reliable with rainfall readings.

The dry spell ended dramatically here on the 18th with 8mm falling - most of this from heavy rain/hail showers.
Further dribs and drabs from rain and hail shower edges over the last couple of days brings my total up to 25mm for the month so far; the average being 38.1mm

4.5mm from today's rain and hail showers brings my total up to 29.5mm. Just where that progged Atlantic occluded front stalls on Tuesday could decide whether I achieve the monthly average or not
