This morning decided to diverge from the BBC forecast and bring some decent sunshine with temps rising to just over 17*C, which in light winds felt decent, with the muggy nature of the air combining to give another day very unlike what April is usually associated with here.
This evolution is what GFS came up with overnight, and it then shows some convective precipitation with high CAPE on offer here... convection seems to be exploding to the SW of here at the moment, while overhead it's gone really murky and the mugginess has cranked up another notch.
Temperature's still in the mid-teens i.e. above average by a couple of degrees. Uncanny really.
