No easterly, the haar has gone and for the first time in 9 days I can see more than a 1000metres...whoop whoop! I can even see brightness in the sky! rumour has it that we will reach double figures today too which will be the first time for 10 days

Despite the forecast saying dry until later  continuous sometimes heavier drizzle making a damp dreary morning in this part of Hampshire  but hardly shows on the radar

The synoptics may have changed but the weather sure as hell hasn't. After skies clearing overnight tthe sunshine lasted barely 1 hour after sunrise before it clouded over yet again 


Temp a chilly 8.8C under rank overcast dross. Is this hell ever going to end? This is the 5th rubbish Saturday in a row and it is beyond depressing

Slow progress: temp has hit 10c for the first time since Fri 21st March. Currently 10.5c under mostly cloudy skies - but it's brighter than at any point in the last 8 days.

The gloves and wooly hat have been put away this morning, not only have we reached double figures for the first time in 15 days but a weak sun has made an appearance for the first time in 9 days. There are a few spots of light rain but a slight Fhoen going on here has meant that Edinburgh has reached 13 C! The second highest of the year (14 C back in March) and it feels great!

A pleasant day with variable sunny spells, some occasional haziness and a little stratus at times. Cooler though with an onshore SW'ly breeze and a current temperature of 11.9c.
