Fine and quite sunny with only well broken cloud. 19.7 C but it's boiling hot at the west-facing front side of the house.

Turning out much brigher this afternoon than I thought.

As has happened so frequently this year the expected wet conditions fail to materialise but on each occasion we are stuck under depressing drizzly overcast so doesn't make an iota of difference. The day is a write-off anyway.

Min: 12.7C, max: 15.7C with no sunshine at all, 0.4mm of vile drizzle. Truly rancid conditions. Mean temperature being propped up by disgustingly mild nights again this month with genuine warmth proving as elusive as ever these days

The warm, fine and settled conditions are still hanging on at this end when I was expecting it to be all dull and overcast by now. Feeling muggy at 17.1 C with 72% humidity, seems that this warm stuff is still yet to be displaced by that weak cold front.
