Even though there are quite a fair amount of cloud cover but there are bits of blue sky showing and is actually brightening up as I type. However, it won't be long before the low cloud gunk start to roll in from the North Sea.

The storm cell, as forecast, missed us in the early hours and thus remains high and dry at this end - the Kent Rain Deflector being as effective as ever.

16.6 C with 87% humidity. It is still feeling quite muggy indoors, even with windows open, especially since winds are still quite light, but I think it'll get to feel cooler and fresher before long.

13.9C here with light NE wind, has been drizzly showers.
Low cloud is showing signs of breaking though. 1mm in the last 12 hours.

 It's trying to brighten up here and the rain has ceased .. a total of 0.6mm of nuisance rain .. enough to bring the slugs and snails out tonight to have a go at the soft-fruit I may have to go out there with a torch tonight as the cat isn't much use in catching them  Back on topic .. 17.1C currently.
