Another day of soul destroying Shetland rubbish. Grey, overcast, drizzle turning to heavy rain, very little sunshine. There's been 3mm of rain and it's a cool 14.6C currently.


Just a 2007/2012 type situation where a permacast has set up that won't shift. Each day is more grim and depressing than the one before

I posted the stats to support this yesterday, I'm guessing you missed that?

The norm in the UK climatically is prevailing southwesterly winds. Quite a few of the recent years seem to have bucked this trend. Under normal conditions NE Scotland does rather well.

Currently a dark, grey 13°C.

The prevalent easterly muck seems likely to continue in coming days.
