It's too good a spot by the assistant. It does touch the top of his arm but that sort of infringement will go unnoticed 90% of the time. Doesn't stop it being the right decision though. Unlucky Hulk!

If Colombia beat Uruguay I think they'll do Brazil as well. In Martinez and Rodriguez you have arguably the two most deadly attackers in the tournament.

Two big problems to be honest. Monaco in no pressure to sell, and secondly his wages over here would be taxed. He's in a pretty cushy situation over there, but that doesn't mean he's happy.

1- He reportedly wants a crack at the PL.

2- His valuation last season was artificially created to help Porto out, so any club coming along will likely argue it hasn't gone up much - if at all.

Yes even with Suarez Uruguay probably wouldn't of won this game. Colombia have some great attacking flair. I think they will get to the semi final and meet either France or Germany - what a match that will be. And on the other side of the draw I reckon it will be either Netherlands or Argentina who make the final, but we can't discount the Swiss or Belgians either after their performances (the Swiss look dodgy at the back tho) Costa Rica not too shabby either. Just shows what a great World Cup this has been thus far.

I'm not so sure the Dutch will even get past the Mexicans.

I dunno about that, I think the Dutch will be keener than the rest as to finally get their hands on the cup which as evaded them so far, going forward I think they will be too much for Mexico. The Dutch are defo a team that should have won it at least once by now but oddly haven't.

The best way for Mexico to beat the Dutch will be to smother their midfield (starving Robben and Van Persie of service) and get them on the break. They're perfectly capable of doing that.

Indeed...... in any case it should be a good game, can't see it being a borefest! 

They might have done that 4 years ago had Robben taken that excellent chance he had in the final when he was one-on-one on Casillas. Mind you, they didn't deserve to be World Champions that night given their poor quality of play. Was glad Spain won, but that final summed up the poor overall quality of the 2010 World Cup for me.

So, the end of the road for Uruguay. Safe to say they lacked bite.
