Bright with some sunshine even though there are some big cumulus about. 16 C with 66% humidity.

I could use a good drop of the hard stuff as my lawn is now starting to turn brown and that brisk drying south westerly breeze isn't helping it that much.

Yet another revolting day. A shocking 5th weekend day in succession to have under an hour of sunshine. Combined the four Saturdays of this appalling month have accumulated 6.7 hours sun – the worst of any summer month including June 2007, June 2012 and July 2012. If that doesn’t show what a steaming pile of excrement this June has been then I don’t know what could.

Temperatures stuck around 12-13C most of the day with 0.4mm of drizzle. Wind has been from the NE but now skies look clear in that direction it has switched to NW and cloud looks like invading from that direction. Desperately poor and depressing

After what has been a fair and dry day involving lengthy spells of hazy sunshine, we just had a thundery-type shower trundle over us. The sun is coming back out again now, though.

Temperatures maxed out at 20.8 C at 3 pm, now it is fresher at 15.9C with 91% humidity but winds are still very light so it doesn't feel cold for it anyway.
