Reason - they just find a way of winning games and getting through playing rubbish

Destiny is on their side - just look at that Chilean shot on 120 mins last week not going in

I think they will thrash the Germans as their back line is so poor - Algeria should have thrashed them

I wonder if blatter will make any comment re the refereeing not protecting the best players. Being wise after the event is one of sepp's best traits! Imo, the lax refereeing has led to more open group games although once we got to knock out, perhaps the tone should have changed as this stage is rarely open as the cost of losing becomes stark.

I have said for many years ( and said that night ) that is where Bobby Robson went wrong, he should have taken off Peter Shilton and replaced him with Dave Beasant in 1990, Shilton was miles away from all 5 penalties that night .
