Dull and damp with a breezy south west winds. 16.8 C with 98% humidity.

That should give me a chance to shift this yukky stale smell of burnt BBQ and weed courtesy of next door out of my hobby room. It smells like old socks in here.

Vile and revolting. The 4th write-off horror Saturday in a row. Drizzly all morning then cleared up for 20 minutes before more grim grey wet filth set in  A putrid 12.4C at the moment


With 7 hours sun across the five Saturdays of summer so far this is not a case of being as bad as 2007 and 2012 but worse.  How on earth can we be stuck under cloud all day when there is hardly any on the satellite in any direction? Just beyond a joke.

Hi, Ian! Sunny periods now as the cloud cover has diminished to just a few very shallow cu, not bad for an unsettled spell; it must be very dry aloft atm. Winds have dropped to a light westerly and the pressure has stabilised @ 1002mb, temperature at 17.6C
