I can remember it quite well. It was part to the summer that started so well then took a turn for the worst for the last 3rd of June when a northerly developed. It stayed bad until late July until we had a half decent spell to take us into August. I recall getting frustrated by the never ending unsettled countryfile forecasts until a glimmer of hope emerged late in July.
