Germany almost certainly going to take the foot off the gas in the second half and rest up for the final, probably give three subs a 30 to 40 minute run out each.

Agree with the commentators - This Brazil side is not a patch on the side that beat Germany in the 2002 final. Worst side to get to the semis, been very surprised they have got this far anyway.

Just watched that Germany third goal by Kroos, and that is some finish. The ball is hit on the half volley slightly lifting, as it is crossing the body. Amazing control on the shot as that would be ripe for mis-control.

One word sums up that first half: Carnage.
