The subdued darkened vile putridness of cloud continues here on the SE coast...100 hours without any sunshine whatsoever...truly insulting . The dampness and humidity make for a clammy and cool feel...the depression here is immeasurable

The temperature has been stuck between 15-17c for days, there is no wind to move the gloom away.

An utter horror show for this part of the world over the last few days...and a kick in the teeth for what is supposed to be high summer.

Warmest day of the year. Maximum 25.8C.

Very humid with the dew point close to 16C.

A lot of cloud has now built up which is limiting the sunshine. Would not be surprised to see the odd heavy shower later.

Cloud and sunny spells. Warmest day of the year, max 23.5c. That on its own would suggest a poor summer but we have had lots of 21c to 23c's which have been very pleasant conditions.

Oo00h, oooh. Wait . . . I do think it's now starting to brighten up.

Not that it's of much use as the Atlantic front has almost caught up on us anyway, I'll try not to miss this bit of brightness by blinking.
