I know for my own stretch of the region the temperatures continued to climb until gone 7pm, though sadly not to the delightful heights of 30C - around the 27C for me today.

I bet that'll be a shock to the average geordie's system.

I missed out on half the June heatwave as I was up in the Tyneside region - murky cool it was

Had the pleasure of working in Dorking, Surrey this afternoon. Temps were 29c (84f).

Here in Folkestone it was a slightly cooler and fresher story as a NE'ly breeze set in restricting maxes to 24c (75f)...very nice indeed.

Currently 18c, I expect this to be tonights minimum as the plume is edging in with its associated humidity.

Tomorrow is looking like a scorcher even here with a direct continental flow off the continent.

Managed 25.9 in my sheltered valley location, close to S Coast.  Hoping for a possible 30c tomorrow with the wonders of a minimum modification SSEly.

Had a decent 28*C here in Reading today, and it felt more like 30*C for a time later in the afternoon as the humidity rose

A tad offset by the 28.5*C temperature in this room right now, but I can toletate that for some daytime heat and thunderstorms overnight

Max of 27.0 °C today in Bewdley. Still 20.3 °C now, and feels it too. It's not going to be easy to sleep tonight even if we miss the big storms.

Yesterday's final max ended up being 29.5c in Hampton. Today's prediction of 33c would be unusual as Jiries said after such heavy rain.

22 degrees here but another rainstorm just passed at 8.45am. The air is still very unstable so I will be most suprised if the projected temperatures for London get to 30 degrees later today, Friday.... We shall see....

My highest so far this year is 23.5c

Which is odd, because it's felt warm for weeks, and we've had some really fine weather - best summer since 2013 by this point of the year...

Certainly not anything special here this morning. 17.6c and cloudy after a comfortable low of 13.3c last night. Not sure we will beat the 24.2c of yesterday.
