26.6c max today. Felt so hot playing cricket but humidity aided my bowling and took a five for,

And so the heatwave begins proper down this way :-)

Prospects of mid to upper 20's every day for the next 5 days at least. I strongly suspect at least one day of very very high 20's, given the wind direction, forecasted temps and the metoffice automated temps having a tendency to under cook the temps..

The only fly in the ointment is a shower risk later this week.

Currently 22.2C and humid. Hazy skies & a gentle N/NW wind.

It's turning into the warmest day of the year down here in Pompey with temperatures around the 27-28C mark 🙂
This coming week could quite possibly see higher if the forecast is right 🙂 :-))

This has been more of a 'dew point watch' for me lately.

I'm glad to report that it's finally fallen, down to 14*C as of 9pm. It feels magnificent after spending day after day sweating buckets

You see, I enjoy a hot and humid day or two, but beyond that I prefer a bit of dry heat for a few days...

...like I can afford to be that picky when it comes to fine weather in the UK

24-24C being reported locally as of 11:40am.

This region saw the uk highest maxes yesterday thanks to favourable winds, today the winds continue to be favourable :-)

I think 29C officially being recorded is a real possibility today down towards the south coast today. My bets would be Solent but Hurn might pinch it.

Already at 22 C at 1030 here at both Edinburgh Met Office sites, think the sea breeze will get up this afternoon and put a cap on the rise but nevertheless another beautiful sunny day in this generally fine warm summer up here

Collecting the post about 10 minutes ago it feels around 26C already, gosport weather station is up to 25C but the met office have yet to update. I will go and take a temperature reading in a little while.

I reckon 29-30C down here today at an "official" station.

Cromdale near here, a Met Office Site is 27.6c

Way higher than my 24.3c and Aviemore's 25c so that is rather questionable
