21.5c and sunny. Nice breeze. Much warmer than here in the Vale of York for some reason today e.g already 25c at Linton on Ouze.

Yes Solent and Thorney will both probably top over 30.

Portsmouth has altered seen temps higher then 31C and now the winds have shifted slightly easterly the hot air will be blown out of the city towards gosport and Solent.

Clouds have bubbled up a little now, still temps are fluctuating between 29.5C & 30.5C in my part of the city.

Currently 23°C and sunny at the airport and in my garden. Significantly and predictably higher than the totally unrealistic BBC forecast max of 16°C.

Altnaharra up to 27C an hour ago  could be the first time it's had a higher Summer temp than here. 26.1C here now and warmest day of year so far. Quite a bit of cloud bubbling up now though.

A bit more cloud than yesterday occasionally blocking out the sun. Breezy as well, and temperatures, although very warm, not quite as warm as yesterday. Currently 25.1C.

Unbroken sunshine the whole day, with only bits of broken cirrus. Temperatures has been hovering around 26 C for several hours this afternoon despite the north east breeze, now it has throttled down to 24.0 C with 57% humidity but still feels quite muggy.

Have spent most of the day sat outdoors listening to music on the iPad. However my elderly mother and Jet, the six months old kitten, on the other hand are not at all sun worshippers.
