A fair bit of convective cumulus building this afternoon, but no real sign of anything stormy, more an indication of the fireworks further south if anything. Breeze has picked up, but the sun is still out and temperatures slowly climbing, currently 27.1C.

Temperatures have been up around 30C again, however the storms clouds are now building from the north/ northeast - i think it will rain within the hour!!

Have been sitting outside at the front garden soaking up the sunshine but now stratocumulus has rolled in from the North Sea and blotted the sun right out.

Still very warm to the touch at 25.0 C with 57% humidity under near-calm winds.

Gone rather dull here now with very little blue sky, 25.3C at the noment, got up to 26.2C about an hour ago before the cloud rolled in.

20.7C, nice cool breeze from sea.
Fog cleared about 9am but was quite a sight late yesterday as it flowed inland and over the moors watershed into south facing dales like Farndale here.
