Another October-like day. Started very sunny and I took a trip up to Fyvie Castle. Dry for the whole time I was there but left at just the right time (2pm) as it rained all the way back as far as Dyce. We just caught the dregs of the showers in this part of town as usual. 0.6mm.
Despite a lot of sunshine temperature has got no higher than 15.0C. This is reminescent of the same weekend exactly 10 years ago when despite lots of sun it struggled to only 15C. Was dry and less windy then though and it dropped to 2C overnight. Not seen anything lower than 7.6C this week due to the wind. July and early August got lower!
