The overcast damp gunk has arrived at this end, but the brightness had held on when I did the garden earlier on this afternoon. It came over cloudy with some rain as soon as I swept away the last bit of grass cutting.

19.8 C with 89% humidity but the wind appears to be dead calm.

Detestable start to September. Grey, cloudy and depressing with an easterly wind 15.6C


Absolute rubbish. Now into the 4th week of incessantly poor weather. Even last week was better than this. At Least it was sunny from Monday to Wednesday.

I was surprised and unexpected to see light rain and overcast condition after they going for warmer, sunnier and settled week. Must be the stupid front thrown or deveoped inside the already strong HP that forming yesterday with lovely day.  Didn't stop me from painting the garden fences that I couldn't paint in August due to runs of wet weekends.  Rain was very little so I ignored it and paint it without any effects on the fences.
