Over the last year or so I've created a few threads in the weather and climate forum on storms that have particularly interested me, and actually I have done this with 5 particular storms. For those who are interested I have made an informative video on these storms which basically takes information from the threads I made. Its a bit long winded, I applogise, all videos I make are somewhat like that. But anyway my top 5 most interesting and unusual tropical storms that hit at least 1 on the saffir simpson scale are:
5) Hurricane debbie (the one that hit the british Isles)
4) Hurricane Vince (the one that hit spain)
3) Cyclone Caitrina (the one that hit Brazil)
2) Hurricane Faith (the one that hit the Faero Islands)
1) Cyclone Agni (the one that went where no tropical storm has gone before)

Enjoy!
And also wunderground is a great place to stay up to date on tropical activity. Dr Jeff masters has a great blog that I would recommend which keeps you up to date on any interesting tropical activity.
