Hi John! It has been a photogenic type of day with sunny spells and anvil-topped showers at this end, including one at 1 pm which produced some gunshot thunder and a very short but sharp burst of hail (enough to turn the ground white for a few minutes). At least it was less windy on yesterday which made it feel pleasantly mild in any sunshine we did get as temperatures peaked at 15 C this afternoon, but tomorrow the good ol' southerly gale will be back thus making it feel bleak again. M'eh.

Good stuff, Ian! BTW I managed to break my 3 yr September thunder-duck on the evening of the 29th .. one lonesome rumble! Fortunately I'd got the AM radio on and wasn't plugged in to YouTube on the headphones at the time
