Occasional spits and spots of rain, a few hazy intervals of sunshine earlier. 12.8C, a fresh NE breeze, pressure @ 1005mb, falling slowly.

Certainly some energy out there in the Atlantic, at least the heating bills shouldn't be too much of a worry over the coming days  Back on topic .. light to moderate rain has set in here - we've lost the Pennine rain-shadow as the winds have backed northerly and have dropped to mainly a light/moderate breeze. 10C, pressure has crept back up to 1006mb.
