Already on 63.2 mm which is 212.6% of the LTA for 13 days of October.

5 days have seen 6-8 mm, one day over 10 mm and two 3-5 mm.

The high proportion of events in the moderate to borderline heavy range puts me in mind of how the rain came last winter - rarely ever extreme in one event, just steadily building day after day.

Also went past last years total with 2.5 months left, so definitely going be a well above average year unsurprisingly.

I love the way that both the Metoffice rainfall radar and Raintoday both have the rain clearing here about an hour ago. I can assure them both that the rain is most certainly still falling.
