Take the colour of the trees away and the skyline would have you think it's a July morning here in Kilmersdon this morning. Fine and sunny at 13C with a lighter SSW wind than yesterday and much less cloud. The webcam image available below dislays all.

Dull and overcast. Somehow I'm stuck under this low cloud rolling in from the Strait of Dover. Also feeling notably cool and fresh at 12.8 C with 97% humidity under a brisk south west breeze.

Like the kind of thing we get in May under the same kind of synoptics.


EDIT:  It is now trying to brighten up as I type.

The cloud bank hugging South Kent doesn't seem to want to shift as I'm still stuck under low stratus cover. Oh well, it's only October. This time last year I was just recovering from sting-jet winds associated with St Jude's storm.
