Another good frost this morning and it took a long time to clear in the shade.  The temp was down to -2 here at daybreak, so I wonder if somewhere managed -5c.

In the SE, South Newington fell to -4.0*C which itself is colder than anything I've seen over here since March 2013 yell

If ECM's mid latitude block verifies for next week, that could change before too long

The November Prediction Game Scores

Given that if we see a minus 5 or below this month, it will be today or later, and with the charts showing no sign of an ice day anywhere before month's end, a couple more preliminary category results could be carried out, and the results are above.

Gooner seems to be continuing the good run he's been having of late, but of course there's still more than half of the categories to go

Thanks SC.

Oops, I'm trailing a bit and I'm not at all confident about my guesses in the remaining categories.  Oh well, better luck next month!

Well, there goes another month!  Here it seems to have been pretty grey and damp for most part with only three frosts.  I have a feeling we're in for another fairly mild winter, although Brian's saying different things on the homepage but I hope he's right and we get snow for Christmas!!

Rob has managed his second consecutive podium finish and his fourth of 2014 (same as Gooner), decent stuff, nicely done

Zubzero has sprung up out of nowhere and taken third place this month, which makes for a great debut!

Caz was close and has managed her fourth position within the top four, not bad going at all. She was fourth last month as well... lot's of consistency going on here.
