Currently mild at around 10C but last night recorded a minimum of -1.4C making it the coldest temperature of the year  and the coldest night since 20 November 2013 (which at -2.1c was the coldest I recorded in the winter half of 13-14.)

Literally a "damp squib" this morning, expected to wake to heavy snow showers and low temps. 4dc, dp 2dc and wet and damp.

Maybe the colder air still to cut in.

A nasty and horrible, cold windy day 3.7C and completely bone dry unlike last night when it rained then froze on the pavements despite the temperature getting nowhere near zero

This "cold zonality" is detestable. Hate it almost as much as easterlies. Cold without frost and snow is just an unpleasant pointless waste of time

Sun's come out at this end now. Looking and feeling more like early Spring rather than early Winter at 10.9 C.  It is damp after light rain has fallen recently.
