Just driven back across the water through that Russ. Cars in Lpool had their headlights on and street lights were on at 3pm it was so dark. It did turn sleety just as I entered the tunnel but the clearance was up ahead so it petered out. Only 2c here on the Wirral now. Some nice hail showers this morning too, but still waiting for the ever elusive snow! 

Irish sea looks like it has one or two more showers in - might - MIGHT get a bit more wintry now the sun has gone down.

Fingers crossed eh! To be honest I've been enjoying the hail, so as long as it isn't boring rain again I'll be happy

Dire with the temperature stuck on 2C all evening yet again  Absolutely disgusting day as well due to the wind and cold rain first thing.

Temperature got down to 1.5C despite clear skies overnight and max of only 3.7C yesterday. This is just diabolical. Easterly temperature profiles no matter what these days
