Moved back to Norway 3 weeks ago and slowly getting settled again.... and so the Bjorli threads are back

Currently snowing and temperatures close to -6c.

Not much snow depth for the time of year but I know it is soon coming.

Haven't got any photos just now, except for a few on the Twitter page. Will add some later.

Hope it is okay to just plug my new (and simple) website just once? There are literally 100s of freely available snow photos on there - all from various times between 2003 to 2012 and all from Bjorli and Lesjaskog.

You can also follow on FB and Twitter.

Already had 6cm of fresh snow since dawn this morning.

Welcome back Mike, welcome back Bjorli!

I was only talking about you to a colleague just a week or so ago - I was describing the photos you used to post to show the depths increasing from October(ish), and the paths to your weather stn you had to clear every few hours. Looking forward to some more pics

Excellent news. At least we are are to have some regular snow pictures on TWO this season even if the UK winter turns sour again this year.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Hi Mike, great to see you posting here again, and interesting to see that you have gone back to the Bjorli area for a third time! I guess Malta and Portsmouth just weren't snowy enough.

Hi Mike,

Congratulations on returning, hope you enjoy the snow again.
Visited Bjorli briefly as a day trip from a cruise to Andalsnes, coach up, train back down the valley, very pretty but only few patches of snow as was end of May last year.

Thanks for the congrats and welcome-backs peeps. :-)

Kieron - glad you found me!

Lots of snow potential these coming days with some light snow tomorrow before a greater risk of something more significant on Saturday. One to watch...

Would be cool to have a Thumbs Up button within each post - a nice way to acknowledge a person's reply without adding a post to send the thread to the top without any relevant content in tune with the topic....... Brian ;-)

Great to have you back in Norway Mike, your photos might be the only snow we see this year.

Any more pics Mike?

With that Scandy through developing you must be expecting some epic snowfalls.

Lucky you!
