Quite cloudy but I can just make out the odd tiny sliver of blue sky here and there. It is also very damp, hardly surprising since 10.5 mm of rain fell last night.

Well, how about that for a surprise, it has brightened up considerably with the sun trying to break through - which is going against my own "m'eh" type forecast. It is also having the effect of making the current temperature of 11.6 C feel quite mild to the touch.
