After a more tolerable couple of mild days with lighter winds it's back to the disgusting cold zonal vomit

Extremely unpleasant and windy with temperatures the same as what an overcast gloomy easterly would give despite there not being a cloud in the sky. Last night's min of 2.2C the mildest for three nights i.e. before the "milder" interlude. You couldn't make it up. Today it limped up to 4.3C and on 3.4C now where it will likely stick all night. Just awful

A fortnight since the last visible frost and barely below freezing at all this week. This year of record breaking hell just won't relent to give us anything even half decent.

Very intense hail shower just gone through. Hail was pea sized at times. Turned a wet ground white in a couple of minutes.

Dry here all day and still fairly clear. 5.4C due to wind touching 35mph
