Hello folks,

Here's the week ahead forecast video: http://www.gavsweathervids.com/forecasts.html

Here's the Written Thoughts: http://www.gavsweathervids.com/written.html

Starting very mild but turning cooler for Christmas.

The next Gavin's Thoughts will be on Christmas Eve as usual. In the meantime I've got the December 2014 CFS Six Month Look-Ahead (JFF) coming up tomorrow, so look out for that.

Thanks as ever for your support.

I'm leaving my "Magnus Opus" - 1878/1879 - On the shelf for another year as I just don't have time to do the full 1-2 year epic I want to pull off for this video (actually when I do it it will be 2-3 video spanning autumn 1878 to the end of 1879)

The Christmas Day 2014 historic video will be the winter of 1990/1991, specifically focusing on February 1991 severe freeze of course.

If you'd like to see all the historic weather video's done so far, check it out here;

Some real epics here including 47, 63, 79, 87, etc...

Cheers Gav

Just sat through the '81 video, some of those charts are incredible, the village I lived in ( Hempton ) was cut off, the drifts were mad

The 81 video was a fun one to do (though wasn't a great time for me personally)

My personal favourite was the last one I did, 79. Felt that came together very well - I look back at some of my earlier one's like 1963 and 1976 and I wonder whether I should re-do them, because my presentation skills were pretty poor back then, to be honest.

I've been lambasted on YouTube for that 1976 one in particular, LOL.

Thanks.

One of the comments on YouTube was that I have "the most irritating voice in the world" and another claimed "he lost the will to live" LOL!

But I did get some nice comments as well. I think in theatrical circles they call it "mixed" reviews.
