Haven't been down into single figures since the early hours of the 21st! Will be nice to wake up to something at least slightly more seasonal!

It was 11.2c at 6am and the cold front arrived and now down to 8.4c! It felt quite chilly when I went to the shops an hour ago as its been so  mild of late.

Looking thoroughly miserable out there where it's being gloomy and wet and murky. This is where the weakening cold front is passing over Kent right now but at least it isn't blowing a gale for once and I am expecting things to improve later on this morning.

3.7C Gauge counted 8.4mm since midday yesterday but I think it missed at least 4mm due to the wind.

The dross in this horrendous month is just relentless. Yet another coma-inducing windy night where clear skies went to waste. Temp stuck on 2-3C all night. It's now been over a week since the temperature went below freezing 

It's just ridiculous. The wind actually picked up in the evening and now seems to be dropping. The very opposite of what is natural and normal

The low cloud has finally receded to give us a last minute burst of sunshine. Unfortunately at this time of the year, the sun "sets" behind a hillock at about now and I won't see sunshine until dawnbreak tomorrow morning.

Temperatures recovered pretty quickly after the cold front and have hovered between 9 and 9.9c for a few hours now. I'm just wondering how cold tonight will be?
