Cool Xmas, even colder after...
If you get the chance to drop in to GWV tomorrow's historic video will be 90-91, so check it out if you get the chance.
All that remains is to wish you all a Merry Christmas.
EDIT: Here's today's historic video - Winter 1990-91: http://www.gavsweathervids.com/february91.php

Thanks Gavin. A very Happy Christmas to you and thanks for your excellent contribution to the forum.
All the very best to you.
Cheers, Gav.An interesting forecast.Happy Christmas.
Thanks, Gavin, not just this one but all the year.
Also congratulations on being prepared to say something about Sunday and after, when all the official forecasters are being dragged kicking and screaming to present a forecast for that time!
Thanks guys. Your all very kind.
DEW, all the forecast models were in pretty good agreement on the evolution to New Year this morning, so it was relatively easy to come up with this forecast.
As I'll still be doing the normal week ahead forecast on Saturday I'll be able to make changes should it turn out to be milder or indeed colder, than expected next week.
we all love you gav. MERRY CHRISTMAS buddy,
Your all far too kind I'm sure, but thanks both.
Thank you for doing the written.
Have a good festive season.

Happy Christmas all
Thanks Gav that was a very nostalgic trip back to 1991 and very informative too
I remember it well - I was commuting from Richmond to Waterloo at that time and the 25 minute train journey took just over 4 hours that day in February
Absolutely brilliant look back to 90-91, I remember it all so vividly, thanks very much, love the commentary.
Thanks both!
Pleased you enjoyed it.
Great video again Gav
