Saint Snow
25 December 2014 22:46:32

Did anyone living the in the UK experience snowfall in the 24 hours of the 25th?

Was there any city that officially had a white Christmas (definition of one flake falling; even if mixed in with rain)?

How about Aberdeen? I heard that was the most favourable spot?

Reliable reports of snow in Cumbria on Christmas Day - but on the fell tops only, well above 2000ft

Can anyone confirm there was snow falling on any low ground in Scotland on Christmas Day?

I've just been quoted 250-1 on anywhere in Hampshire seeing a snowflake at any time in 2015

does anyone knpw where the "official results" are posted online? We had a brief sleety shower early Christmas day morning - dont think it turned into genuine snow, but if we got some sleet here on NW Leicestershire, surely there must have been a chance there was a flake somewhere...

Christmas Day here started cold and frosty.  However, there were showers in the morning although I was dismayed to see them falling as rain (even when the surface air temp was below freezing!).  However, there was a shower later in the morning that got a bit heavier and fell as wet snow/sleet briefly.  There were more shower clouds incoming but I left around 11am to travel down to Dundee.  The further south I got, there were no shower clouds at all and it was just cold, clear and sunny.
