Turning out fair with some sunshine. I am almost tempted to give the lawn a cheeky trim but the lawn is wet after overnight rain (not sure how much fell as my cheapo Maplins rain gauge has stopped working. Again).

Have popped into town and noticed lots of people having their winter coat draped over their arms because it has been feeling so mild in the winter sunshine and light wind.

2°C here and very icy with a sprinkling of snow on the ground. Coincidentally I managed to be heading out with the family when it snowed earlier, the first real snow I have seen this winter and the first here for what seems like a very very long time.

Nice to see the snow on the ground but it is a bit lethal to drive on in places as it has turned to sheet ice.
