The back end of this rain belt has just moved over us and the sun quickly popped out! Actually, the back end is a lot more defined and sharper than I thought, it was like "Bing!" from drab dank dark skies to stunningly beautiful strong sunshine in minutes, like a light has been switched on.

So well appreciated after what has been a rubbish morning with moderate/occasionally heavy rain. I'm sure over 20 mm has fallen so far today but my rain gauge is broken and I am waiting on delivery of a replacement.

I had a 35 minute cycle just after 8am in that!!! Should have only took me 20 minutes.

I had to laugh when I checked the 2 local gosport weather stations and they had apparently only recorded around 11mm of rain up to 8am since midnight :-D
