Woke up to grey, misty and general dampness this morning. While it is still rather cloudy as I type this, the light is improving.

There is a bit of a south westerly breeze but that is absolutely nothing compared to what our Scottish friends are going through at the moment.

Amazingly warm here in Crediton, Mid Devon. It's been 15.2 at about 3pm and is still above 14 in very gusty winds. I notice that Exeter airport is currently reading 16C! Extraordinary for January.

Every time I have been to Doncaster station, even in summer, it has been perishingly cold.

In Reading, temperature has reached 15.5'C.

Sounds pretty wild outside at the mo,  13.7C with a high of 14.3C today.
