Using some of the betting markets from one online bookmakers I thought we could have a little debate? If mods/admin want to move it to the forums arms if they think it's better suited then please go ahead

4. No rain on any day during Wimbledon 10/1

5. Rain every day at Wimbledon 40/1

6. UK record temperature high to be broken (38.5C recorded by Met Office) 16/1

7. River Thames to freeze from bank to bank anywhere between London Bridge and Tower Bridge 100/1

8. UK to have the wettest year on record (Met office) 5/1

9. Rain to fall on the Saturday headline act on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 8/1

10. UK Mainland Temperature to exceed 100F 10/1

11. UK mainland wind speed record to be broken (173mph) 14/1

12. Snow to fall on the River Thames during the University Boat Race 33/1

To actually get through a week without experiencing gale-force southerlies - 1,000,000/1

The Grand National is on the 11th April at Aintree (Liverpool) , I think snow will fall in Spring but I'm not sure on what set ups Liverpool (NW) area need at that time of year for snow? The problem is the bet is during the race not on the actual day at any time which would of interested me had it been.

Another warm year wouldn't surprise me, we said we couldn't see us having back to back no snow in some areas and at present some of us are facing that so I wouldn't rule out another record being broken but waiting a year to find out at 4/1 doesn't get the juices flowing.

Number 10. Mainland temperature to exceed 100f at 10/1 interests me the most
