Some of that looks to be heading this way Matty but temps are rising quite quickly so not long before it'll all turn a bit rainy for here .

Yes, well having been up all night (and about to go to bed) I have to hang around long enough to see my first friggin snowflake in two years.

Tis true, but a necessity of the avid snow follower. 

A covering on everything here and still coming down. I sent a photo from about an hour ago to a couple of people on Facebook, but can't post it on here on this stupid thing.

Just a light dusting here on favoured surfaces, don't think anything else fell overnight, a snow band is just a bit further north.

Considering the sun will rise in about 30 mins if we're to get anything else today it'll have to be rather heavy to properly stick. But the dew point and temp is favourable at the moment for further settling snow & the ground is frozen. Have to admit that the 18z update from Euro 4 at midnight showed a massive downgrade for snow here and I tried to discount it, but it did show snow shunted further north - exactly where it has been through this morning.

Just been informed it has gotten as far as Swindon. So it's halfway here

As I thought might happen the temperature has risen just enough to give us here a bit of light rain. That M4 corridor seem a good area for snow fans these days.

I can almost guarantee it at this end.

Excellent stuff - one clump is going to the north of me (and is now further east) while the other bit seems to be breaking up as it heads towards me.

I despair.

A dusting here. Had more thundersnow last night as well  - bright flash and loud crashing thunder. That's 3 thundersnows in I think 4 days!
