Just 27.2mm here so far, but precip. on most days have made it seem wetter. The most precip. in one day was 5.3mm on the third and 4mm on the 16th. Probably around 3mm to add from last night's snowfall.

Good job Folkestone isn't that easily prone to flooding, like the Somerset Levels, even if this keep up for the rest of this month. At least we won't need to be too concerned about water shortages come the summer, that's for sure.

I have just noticed that so far this month I have had 71 mm of rain - and we're only just gone past halfway through January.

Good job Folkestone isn't that easily prone to flooding, like the Somerset Levels, even if this keep up for the rest of this month. At least we won't need to be too concerned about water shortages come the summer, that's for sure.

Now up to 37.2mm which includes the 4mm we've had here today. On course to be around the average of 45mm - depends what the progged northwesterlies bring through the Cheshire Gap later next week ..  kitchen sink
