8.3c now and bright spells.

Very poor forecast! Was due a max of +5c today and my thermometer is working fine and Oregon scientific both measure around the same and not a shower in sight feels spring like. - milder tomorrow as winds go from NW to westerly so it seems.

Strange conditions this morning. Despite strong wind there was frost on the grass and, very unusually, the pavements and roads were also sparkling white. The car was frozen on the north side but not the south side (and this was before the sun came up, so that's not the reason!)

Skies cleared, just under 9" of level snow has fallen - digging time - best UK winter in years!!!!

We've had over 24" (8"+7"+9") of snow fall this Winter 14/15 season...
