It`s been a nice day here but I havn`t seen much of it.
Have spent the day in Stepping Hill hospital, Stockport, having, then recovering from, a Coronary Angiogram. Back home now.
The procedure involves having a canula inserted through the wrist artery and pushed right up into the heart. Then a dye is pumped through that can be seen on an X-Ray machine.
It`s to see whether any heart arteries are blocked or partially blocked. Apparently, mine are completely clear according to the staff who did the procedure, although I will have to wait till I get a reply from the cardiac consultant to be completely sure.
Anyway, I`ve got to rest my right arm as much as possible for 24 hours and no heavy lifting or household jobs allowed (yippee).
Also I`m not allowed to drive for 3 days.
And back to the weather, it`s been a lovely springlike day with a high of 13.5C
