After a rather overcast dawn break, it is now brightening up as it does look like some clear skies over the near Continent are trying to come our way. Continuing dry. 7 C and appears to be dead calm.

Light patchy rain earlier, it had a sleety feel to it but I didn't see any flakes.

The sky had a very Wintery look to it, and where the sun tried to shine through the cloud it had that kind of snow-haze look through the precipitation. I don't think you would have had to be to far up in elevation this morning to have seen a few flakes..... It was probably snow on the top of butser hill earlier.

After 2 days of clear blue skies with a diurnal range of 19.4c yesterday ( -6.2c to 13.2c ) today we have grey skies with a few spots of drizzle.

After having been fair and bright for most of the day, it is now fairly cloudy but the dryness continues.
