After what has been a dull and wet morning with outbreaks of rain, it is actually trying to brighten up as I type. However, the worse is yet to come with the strengthening winds.

Greetings, Richard .. er I mean Ian After a wet and breezy morning it's now a lighter shade of grey with still a few spots of rain at times. 8.6C and the pressure is rising rapidly now, from a low of 988mb. Currently 992mb. Winds are light NW. Good weather for the garden - don't want a dry spring tho' plenty of warm sunshine between the showers would be most welcome too
