Following only the 2nd really good day from this high pressure, yesterday, the temp dipped to 1.8C overnight from a max of 17.8C and today got off to a promising start. However useless white cloud pushed up from the south during the afternoon blotting out the sun and giving temperatures several degrees cooler than forecast.
Everywhere to the south saw the sun return once the cloud had passed over but inexplicably the clearance stopped as soon as it reached Aberdeen so we got stuck with this tripe stagnating over us and the temperature plummeted from 15C to 12C. It's now 11.8C with the ever present nasty cold wind.
Perfect example of the weather black hole that seems to exist round this city. Convection, thunderstorms and snow all disappear into it, now blue sky as well.
What happened to fair weather fluffy cumulus dotted about the sky? Never see that anymore just this tedious unphotogenic milky white muck always ready to invade and ruin what should be a fine day
