13.3mm here so far this month - 9.3mm fell on the third. Lot's of run-off from fields (a very wet last week of March) making wellies an essential for country footpath walking! The current dry spell (or interlude) is most welcome!

What is this phenomenon you speak of... 

Okay, so I have seen some, mostly at the start of this month (3.2mm 1st to 3rd) and early on Saturday morning (1.4mm) but overall it's been a notably dry spell here with 12.7mm over the past 42 days - so averaging just under a third of a millimeter per day.

Rain Late night on the 16th added  1.8mm to the total of 10.5mm for April with 11 dry days and probably more dry days to come.

Still Dry with total on 10.5.mm.

Conditions will change Early Friday Morning allowing at least a week of precipitation.

Looking forward to the incoming rain. 17dry days with only 10.5mm of precipitation.

2014   43.8mm with 12 dry days.

2013   36.0mm   with over 9 dry days  record not started until the 8th of April 2013.
