Clouded up not long after dawn to leave a very poor day for May. Only 7.5C with a cold easterly wind and limited brightness struggling to get through. Had enough of this awful weekend weather last May. Don't need any more of it this year

Hi John! 13.1 C under overcast skies and a light south east breeze but I've just caved in and turned the heating on to shift the chill indoors.

Hi, Ian! Brighter here with some very very hazy sunshine at times! Spots of rain with an occasionally fresh ESE breeze making 8.7C still feel on the parky side! Pressure falling rapidly - now 1006mb.

I'm holding out lighting that fire 'til the evening, Duane Hopefully some convective action over the next few days .. overdue for some thunder!

Radar shows it raining but only the slightest spots reaching ground.
I do hope we get 5mm or so when it gets it's act together by morning, very dry here now.
